Modern Japanese boutique coffee place in Takayama old town. Located by the river, the view is nice as well. Served excellent delicious apple crumble and pumpkin cheese cake. Amazing. Must visit!

Apple pie is the best delicious!Looks cute too ❤While looking at the river and the townscape, it was chillin. However, please note that the river side seats are only two tables at the back.There are unusual tea etc., and the drink menu is enriched.Speaking of Takayama, the image of sweet dishes is strong, but still a wonderful cafe worth visiting by Mr. Sul d (* 'ω `*)

Soeur from the french word sister is a nice coffee place, try to get a table by the window which offers a nice view or the river ! Note that it offers free wifi which could be useful.

Great view overlooking the river. Perfect for a small snack. Doesnt smell like cigarette like other older cafes. The houji cha milk tea was served in a teapot and it was delicious!

Cafe atmosphere was great, nice place to chill with a view of the river. Coffee was too milky for my liking. Cheesecake was good.

If you are looking for a nice modern and relaxing place this cafe is the right one, not many seat but great handmade cakes, variety of teas, caffe and soft nice music. All the interiors are from takayama and the family wooden shop just next to this cafe. Splendid! Highly recommended! Amico del solevante, local guide in Takayama and around. Also a beautiful view of the river!

Really nice, modern coffee shop right in heart of town with good views of the river and great coffee and cakes and lovely English speaking staff. Just the place if you're hit by a longing for a good coffee while travelling.

Great view of the river, excellent baked goods, great coffee and teas, and free wifi.Only reason it's not a full 5 stars is the price gouging on basic coffee ¥450 last I checked. That's it.

It is a favorite coffee shop in Tobi Takayama. I want you to revive the waffle as soon as possible.

Reasonably good coffee bit the pumpkin cheesecake was wonderful. Not too sweet nor too cheesy with a hint of spicy tones.

The pumpkin cheesecake was amazing! With a lovely cream and syrup. Coffee good too. And a floor to ceiling window view of the rover behind.

Lovely coffee shop next to the river. If you are lucky enough you can get one table next to the window and enjoy the view.Coffee is good and pastries are correct. I had a scone, which was a bit too dry though. Nice place for a break while visiting Takayama. However the coffee is a bit expensive, about ¥500.

Really nice cafe with fast wifi and great open wall facing the river. Good place to chill, have a chat, surf the net.
